Indian badminton star Parupalli Kashyap lost to Japan’s Kento Momota in three games in the men’s singles semifinal on saturday.
Kashyap started the match on a positive note when he flat lined his opponent with serial smashes. But Momota came bach hard and won the consecutive sets.
Momota defeated Kashyap 12-21, 21-17, 21-19 in an hour and 16 minutes at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
