G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, on the 17th of November, commented about Telangana politics.
According to G. Kishan Reddy the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) would form the State Government in Telangana by winning the 2023 Assembly Elections.
The confidence of the BJP winning in Telangana came after the results of the recent Dubbaka by election.
In the recent Dubbaka Assembly elections, the BJP candidate Raghunandan Rao won and became the new Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA.)
In addition, the recent Bihar Assembly Elections 2020, was also a boost up for the National Democratic Alliance and the BJP to win in another state as well.
G. Kishan Reddy said, “The people of Telangana state are tired of TRS and its politics and are turning towards (the) BJP for hope. In the recent Bihar election, everyone said that (the) NDA is going to face a failure in the state but on the contrary (the) NDA formed the Government.”
Mr. Reddy addressed the media and said, “The people of Telangana and especially Hyderabad are fed up with the nepotism politics in Telangana and we are sure that BJP is going to form the government in the upcoming 2023 general elections.”
Highlighting Dubbaka by elections, Mr. Reddy said, “We have taken a clear image of how the party must work in the state to win the hearts of people thus leading to the formation of (the) BJP government in 2023. The best example is the recent Dubbak by elections. In the Dubbak by elections, it was clear that people are inclined towards (the) BJP and are willing to teach a lesson to (the) Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.) ”
Besides G. Kishan Reddy, K. Laxman, the National OBC Morcha President and the BJP said that the BJP party is working towards winning the 2023 elections.
The next Assembly elections of Telangana is scheduled to be held in 2023.
