On the 8th of September, the Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar addressed a public meeting.
The public meeting was a part of his ongoing Praja Sangram Yatra, held at Sangareddy district, Telangana. During the public meeting, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said, if in power, the BJP would bring a population control act in Telangana. The BJP State President said, after coming into power in 2023 Assembly elections, the BJP would bring an act similar to the Uttar Pradesh Government, to monitor the State population. Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said, “if telling and explaining facts is provoking people means the party would definitely keep continue this work as we have been taking out praja sangram yatra to know the problems of people including students, farmers and unemployed youths who are been facing problems in TRS regime.”
Besides announcing the population control act promise, the Telangana BJP President also mentioned about the growth and development plans of the BJP, if they win the 2023 Assembly elections. He also demanded the TRS Government to celebrate the Telangana Liberation Day, on the 17th of September, which has been promised by Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.
It is to be noted, the BJP is planning to organise a grand event to mark the occasion of the Telangana Liberation Day. The Union Home Minister and the BJP national leader Mr. Amit Shah is scheduled to attend a public meeting in Nirmal district, Telangana on the 17th of September.
During the public meeting, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar also highlighted the efforts of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government towards the growth and development of the State. He said the BJP led Central Government has sanctioned 2.73 lakh houses for the homeless poor in the state under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, but the KCR Government failed to provide the same.
Taking a dig at the KCR Government, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said, previously the KCR Government promised
to give importance to “ water, funds and appointments ( Nillu, Nidhulu , NIkyamakalu,) but now it turned into ” tears, debts and unemployment” ( kannilu, appulu and nirudyogalu.)
With the representations of the TRS, highlighting facts and failures of the TRS Government, the BJP Telangana President urged people to support the BJP and make it the ruling Government in Telangana.
The BJP is eying to rule the Telugu State of Telangana and putting effort to gain people’s attention for votes and support. In addition, the timing of the public meetings and the Praja Sangram Yatra is said to have major significance due to the upcoming Huzurabad Assembly by election.
Although the Huzurabad Assembly by election is expected soon, the final date is yet to be announced by the Election Commission of India (ECI.)
