BJP To Soon Appoint Party Presidents In Telugu States

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is soon going to appoint new Party presidents in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh (A.P.)

Vidyasagar Rao, a senior BJP leader met J.P. Nadda, the National President of the BJP, on the 20th of February, and decided upon appointing new state presidents in the two Telugu states.

Mr. Rao addressed the media after meeting J.P. Nadda and said, “The BJP will fight for making the 17th of September, as Telangana Formation.”   He said like Karnataka and Maharashtra, the Telangana formation day celebrations would also be held in Telangana, even if the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) stand against it.

When asked about the reason to appoint new Presidents, Vidyasagar Rao said the decision would help to be a strong opponent of the TRS, the ruling Government, emerging as their alternate.

However, an official announcement regarding the new president appointments is not yet made.
