K.Karuna Sagar, an advocate, filed a complaint against K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana and P. Ajay Kumar, the Transport Minister, with the Kanchanbagh Police Station.
On the 15th of October, Karuna Sagar filed the complaint with the Kanchanbagh Police Station and urged legal action against KCR and P. Ajay Kumar for forcing RTC employees to commit suicide.
According to the complaint, KCR’s and P. Ajay Kumar’s decision to sack the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees led them to commit suicide.
Karuna Sagar highlighted one such incident and said due to the fear of losing his job, D. Srinivas Reddy, one of the RTC bus drivers of Khammam depot, set himself ablaze and committed suicide. He died on the 13th of October at the DRDO Apollo Hospital in Kanchanbagh Police Station limits, while undergoing treatment.
J. Venkat Reddy, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Kanchanbagh Police Station, forwarded the complaint to Khammam II Town Police Station as there was already a case registered with them.
The TSRTC employees are continuing the strike which started on the 5th of October.
