COVID-19 – KCR Conducts An Emergency High Level Meeting Amid Lockdown

K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is conducting a high level emergency review meeting amid the ongoing lockdown.

The meeting is scheduled to discuss the measures and the needs during the announced lockdown, till the 31st of March in the wake of the Novel Coronavirus.

The agencies that are handling the COVID-19 cases closely are the Health, the Police, the Revenue and Civil Supplies departments and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC.)   This meeting began at 2:00 P.M.

Besides this, KCR would also review the situation and the preventive measures taken by the district collectors .

K. Chandrashekar Rao is also expected to announce a health emergency, as despite the announced lockdown, some people are not taking it seriously and are venturing out.

Till date Telangana reported a total of 33 cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
