Covid-19 Updates: Telangana Reports Another Big Spike, Total Stands At 27,612
On the 8th of July, the Telangana Health Ministry confirmed 1,879 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
This is another every day spike in the Novel Coronavirus cases in the State. With this, Telangana has 27,612 total positive cases, of which 11,012 are active cases, 16,287 discharged/cured cases and 313 deceased.
Since the past few days,Telangana witnessed a massive rise in the cases of the Novel Coronavirus.
The current situation in Telangana with everyday increasing cases, creates panic amongst the citizens of Telangana.
However, with the additional testing laboratories and hospitals approved for Coronavirus treatment, the Telangana Government assured the situation to be under control.
The Telangana Government also imposed strict lockdown in Hyderabad, which is one of the containment zones in Telangana.
Hyderabad alone accounted for 21,768 cases out of the total of 27,612 cases of the Novel Coronavirus infection.
On the 8th of July, as many as 1,879 people tested positive in Telangana.
The state officials conducted 3, 451 tests on Tuesday, the 7th of July alone, taking the total sample tests to 1,28,438 till date.
Meanwhile, the average growth rate of the Novel Coronavirus is 8%, recovery rate is 58.99 % and mortality rate is 1.13 %.
