Hyderabad Police Commissioner M.Mahender Reddy has made it a point to have a Gymnasium in all police stations. The department has procured treadmills, stationery cycles, dumb-bells, skipping ropes, yoga mats etc., for all police stations. All east zone police stations now have mini gyms.
In the next phase, all police stations will be given weight benches, multiple exercise equipment and weights for shoulder, chest and arm exercises .
It is said that all police stations were being renovated and there was space for setting up mini-gyms and recreation centers. So, our Commissioner had planned to make all his staff a little more fit and thinner.
