JBS-MGBS Route Of Hyderabad Metro Rail Gets Safety Clearance

J.K. Garg, the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS,) issued a safety clearance certificate for the Jubilee Bus Station (JBS)-Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) route of Hyderabad Metro Rail.

On the 12th of January, CMRS J.K. Garg, N.V.S.Reddy, the Managing Director of Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) and senior engineers conducted a clearance test, following which they issued the clearance certificate.  The JBS-MGBS route on Corridor II of the Hyderabad Metro would cover stations like JBS, Parade Grounds, Secunderabad West, Gandhi Hospital, Musheerabad, RTC X Road, Chikkadpally, Narayanguda, Sultan Bazar and MGBS.

Mr. Reddy said the team of senior engineers and the CMRS conducted all the necessary tests related to safety, including that for a viaduct, the track, signaling, telecom, lifts, escalators, control room and several others.

With the clearance certificate for the JBS-MGBS route, Metro services would soon be available for passengers travelling on this route.  The new Metro train on the route would help commuters save time as by road, it takes 45 minutes to travel from JBS to MGBS, whereas by the Metro, they can make it in just 16 minutes.

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government would soon announce the inaugural date of the Metro service on the JBS-MGBS route.
