Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, inaugurated the new integrated district collectorate complex of Mahabubnagar district near Palakonda.

On the 4th of December, Sunday, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) inaugurated the complex of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) office.  In addition, he congratulated Mr. S. Venkata Rao, the District Collector, for his efforts regarding the completion of the complex work and congratulated him.

It is to be noted, the Telangana Government led by Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao announced twenty eight district collectorate complexes in the State.  The new Integrated District Collectorate Complexes were inaugurated in Nizamabad, Jagtial, Peddapalli, and Mahabubnagar.  Furthermore, the inauguration in Wanaparthy, Yadadri Bhongir, Jangaon and Vikarabad are awaited.

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government took up the construction of 28 Integrated District Collectorate Complexes in Telangana.  To this extent, the State Government released Rs. 1,500 crores.  Of these 28 complexes, 5  have already been inaugurated, 8 are set for inauguration and the work of the remaining 16 is underway.   Nearly 13 more complexes would be ready by Makar Sankranti, in 2023.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao asked government officials and employees to strive for excellence in the implementation of government schemes in the district.  He wanted them to actively participate in the second phase of the Kanti Velugu scheme which is scheduled to commence in January 2023.

Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao said, “Over the last seven to eight years, we have transformed from a State with Rs. 60,000 crores budget to Rs. 2.5 lakh crores budget.  Similarly, we have emerged as the State with the highest per capital power consumption against being a power deficit State after bifurcation.  Nobody would even dare to implement these welfare and development programmes like us.”

TRS ministers Mr. S. Niranjan Reddy and  Mr. V. Srinivas Goud along with several Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and others elected representatives participated in the programme.

Furthermore, after inaugurating the TRS office in Mahabubnagar, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao addressed a public meeting at MVS Degree College grounds later in the day.
