Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is set to hold a joint meeting with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Legislative Party leaders.
The Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs,) Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs,) Members of Parliament (MPs) and TRS Executive members. The meeting is scheduled to be held on the 15th of November, Tuesday, at the Telangana Bhavan. During the meeting, the TRS would discuss a strategy to gear up the party for the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections.
Furthermore, during the meeting, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the President of the TRS, which now has been launched as the national Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) would analyse the performance of the party. He would also review the recently concluded Munugode Assembly by election, which was won by the TRS.
Focusing on the main agenda of the meeting, the 2023 State Assembly polls, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao would discuss the strategies and give directions to the leaders on how to counter the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.) He would give guidelines to the TRS leaders on effectively countering the BJP by informing people about a slew of development and welfare schemes launched by the state government. He further asked the TRS leaders to inform people about the Centre’s discriminatory attitude towards Telangana and failure to fulfill the commitments.
It is to be noted, during the meeting, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao is also likely to discuss the recent controversial paoching of TRS MLAs by the BJP. Recently, the TRS leader Mr. Pilot Rohit Reddy exposed the BJP and alleged that the saffron party was trying to poach 4 TRS MLAs and offered Rs. 100 crores.
The meeting is scheduled in the afternoon, at Telangana Bhavan, Hyderabad, Telangana.
