Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology (IT) Minister of Telangana, held a meeting with Mr. Satya Nadella, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Microsoft, on the 6th of January, Friday.
During the meeting, held in Hyderabad, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao and Mr. Satya Nadella discussed business and biryani.
It is to be noted, Mr. Satya Nadella, who is on a visit to India, made headlines for his biryani story. In a recent conversation with ChatGPT, an AI enabled chatbot, Mr. Satya Nadella got a disappointing response over South Indian tiffins, which included biryani. He not only corrected the chatbot saying, “don’t insult Hyderabadis by saying biryani is a tiffin but also received an apology from ChatGPT. The incident went viral on social media platforms and even made news headlines, as a light hearted humour story.
Meanwhile, speaking of the meeting between, Mr. Satya Nadella and Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the duo discussed the plan of Microsoft to have its fourth cloud region in Hyderabad. They also said to have had a fun discussion over biryani, which is said to be not only a food item but an emotion to Hyderabadis.
After the meeting, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao tweeted, “Good start to the day when two Hyderabadis get to catch up. We chatted about business and biryani.”
