On the 31st of October, delegations from the opposition parties have met Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana.
The meeting started at 5:00 P.M., regarding the ongoing Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees’ strike in Telangana.
The TSRTC employees, who are adamant about the fulfillment of their demands, even called for 24 hour Deeksha on the 31st of October and also plan to conduct Million March, a massive protest against the State Government.
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President L. Ramana, Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) President Kodandaram, Indian National Congress (INC) member Bhatti Vikramarka, Communist Party of India (CPI) member Chada Venkat Reddy, Ravula Chandra Sekar Reddy, INC leader V. Hanumantha Rao, Communist Party of India (Marxist) member Thammineni Veerabhadram and Palla Venkat Reddy are a part of the ongoing meeting.
The TSRTC strike started on the 5th of October and entered its 26th day on the 31st of October.
