The citizens of Telangana, looking forward to celebrating Bakrid are allowed to offer prayers at Telangana’s mosques.

The decision to allow prayers at the mosque was given considering the controlled situation of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.) After the pandemic broke out in January 2020, this is the first time, Muslims were given permission to offer prayer at mosques in Telangana.

However, the mosque authorities and people were asked to ensure all the COVID-19 protocols are being followed. District collectors and police have been asked to ensure that everyone follows the protocol of COVID-19.

In regard to this, arrangements have been made in all the mosques of Telangana. The Telangana Government urged all the Muslims to be cautious and not spread the deadly Wuhan virus, especially when the State’s COVID-19 situation is under control with the recently lifted lockdown.

Meanwhile, with the beginning of Zul Hijjah from the 12th of July, India is set to celebrate Eid ul Adha on the 21st of July.
