The Telangana Government, on the 8th of April, decided to complete lockdown at 12 hotspots which could be a massive spread of the Novel Coronavirus.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) scrutinised these 12 areas and decided to put restrictions on the 12 places.
The 12 areas include Ramgopalpet near Paradise, Shaikpet, Red Hills, Malakpet Santoshnagar, Kukatpally, Yousufguda, Chandanagar and several others.
The residents of these areas would be sealed completely after the 15th of April, when the Nationwide lockdown would be eased for others.
On the 8th of April, the GHMC officials directed the Telangana police to organise barricades and additional forces to restrict the movement in these areas. The GHMC commissioner D.S. Lokesh Kumar are supervising the situation.
Meanwhile, Telangana reported 453 COVID-19 cases and 11 deceased till date.
