Eatala Rajender, the Health Minister of Telangana, inaugurated new Basthi Dawakhanas for the underprivileged people in Khairatabad, Telangana.

Mr. Rajender on the 12th of November, launched the new Basthi Dawakhana at BS Maktha.

The newly launched Basthi Dawakhanas would provide free medicines, medical facilities and treat other health related issues.

The new initiative of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) was launched to benefit the underprivileged people providing them free medical attention.

At these dawakhanas, urban poor people could avail any treatment free of cost. At these dawakhanas patients could now access free consultation with a doctor and get medicines.

Mr. Rajender said, “We want to decentralise healthcare services. Primary healthcare services at Basthi Dawakhanas, secondary care facilities at District and Area Hospitals and tertiary care will be provided at teaching hospitals.”

Mr. Eatala Rajender, the Health Minister also inaugurated a Basthi Dawakhana at Dattatreya Nagar, MN Reddy Nagar in Quthbullapur and Medchal district.

Later, Mr. Eatala Rajender participated in the National Ayurvedic Day Dhanvanthari Jayanthi at Jeeyar Swamy Ashramam, Shamshabad.

Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, My Home Chairman Rameshwar Rao, Union Minister for State for Home Affairs G.Kishan Reddy and others were present at the event.
