Three newly appointed judges of the Telangana High Court, will be sworn in on the 26th of August in Telangana.
All the three judges will administer the oath in the presence of Raghavendra Singh Chauhan, the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.
The appointment of the new judges came after the approval from Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India.
On the night of 23rd August, President Kovind, approved Tadakamalla Vinod Kumar, Annireddy Abhishek Reddy and Kunuru Lakshman as the State High Court judges.
The newly appointed judges, on the 24th of August, met Raghavendra Singh Chauhan, the High Court Chief Justice of Telangana regarding the same.
With the addition of three new judges, the number of judges in the Telangana High Court increased to 14.
As of now, there are a total of 24 sanctioned posts in the Telangana High Court, out of 24, only 14 are filled, remaining seats are yet to be filled.
The swearing in ceremony will be attended by E.S.L. Narasimhan, the Governor of Telangana and other judges of the Telangana High Court.
