Telangana Higher Education Extends CET Exams Application To 15th May

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE,) on the 30th of April, announced the Common Entrance Tests (CET) to be held after the 15th of May in Telangana.

The exams were scheduled to be held early, but due to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus they had to be postponed.  Candidates can submit their applications till the 15th of May.

Below are the courses for which CET tests would be held after the 15th of May:

  • The Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET)
  •  Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET)
  •   Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET)
  •  Physical Education Common Entrance Test (PECET)
  •  Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET0
  • Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET)
  •   Law Common Entrance Test (LAWCET) 
  • PG Law Common Entrance Test (PG LAWCET.)

T. Papi Reddy, the Chairman of the TSCHE , confirmed the news and said, the Education department have made all the arrangements regarding the exams.

However, the time table of the aforementioned exams would be announced after the nation wide lockdown ends on the 3rd of May.  The lockdown was imposed on the 24th of March, as a precautionary measure to control the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.

The virus has infected a total of 1,016 people and claimed the lives of 25 people in Telangana till date.
