Till the 23rd of October, Telangana reported 2,29,001 cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
On the night of the 22nd of October, Eatala Rajender, the Health Minister of Telangana released a media bulletin updating about the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
According to the released bulletin, the State recorded 1,421 new cases with 6 fatalities.
Of the total 1,421 new cases, the highest number of cases were reported from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) with 249 cases, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri (111) and Rangareddy (97.)
In addition, the State reported 1,221 recovered/ discharged cases in the past 24 hours.
Besides new cases, the State Health Department conducted as many 38,484 tests for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
With this, the State crossed 40 lakh mark of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 taking cumulative total to 40,17,353.
With these updates, Telangana has 2,29,001 positive cases, of which 20,377 are active cases, 2,07,326 recovered/discharged cases and 1,298 deceased cases.
The case fatality rate in the Telangana is at 0.56 %, while the recovery rate in Telangana is 90.53 %.
