On the 13th of October, the Telangana Government started it’s two day Assembly session.
The two day Assembly session was announced by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) to discuss a few important issues and bills.
According to sources, the Telangana State Assembly’s Legislative session would pass various bills including amendments to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Act 1995, and the newly introduced Revenue Act.
According to the sources, the Bills are expected to be placed before the Legislative Council on the 14th of October.
In addition, K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana is also likely to announce the extension for the Land Regularisation Scheme (LRS.)
The Telangana Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy asked officials to ensure following the norms of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19, social distancing and other protocols.
The two day special Assembly session is scheduled to begin at 11:00 A.M., on the 13th of October.
