On the 10th of September, the special task force committee formed by the Telangana Government conducted its first meeting.
On the 9th of September, K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, proposed the formation of a special force committee.
The special force committee was formed with an aim to monitor COVID-19 situation in private hospitals of Telangana.
Mr. Rao decided to form the committee after several complaints against private hospitals designated to treat the COVID-19 patients.
Somesh Kumar, the Chief Secretary formed the committee which includes members like Indian Administration Service(IAS) officers.
The meeting was attended by committee members S.A.M.Rizvi, Rahul Bojja, Sarfaraz Ahmad and D.Divya.
