Mr. A. Revanth Reddy, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee Chief issued an apology to the Congress Party senior leader Bhuvanagiri Member of Parliament (MP) Komatireddy Venkatreddy through a video.
Mr. A. Revanth Reddy shared a video, in which he is tendering an unconditional apology to Komatireddy Venkatreddy for the statements which hurt him a lot during a press meeting. The statement made by Mr. Addanki Dayakar in Chanduru public meeting was strong remarks against Komatireddy Venkatreddy and it hurt him, following which Mr. Komatireddy Venkatreddy demanded an apology for the remarks.
It is to be noted, the apology of Mr. A. Revanth Reddy came after Mr. Komatireddy Venkatreddy took a dig at the TPCC Chief Mr. A. Revanth Reddy. He claimed that the State Party Chief had already given up hopes of victory of the party in the upcoming by-elections in the Munugode Assembly constituency from where his young brother Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy resigned recently paving the way for holding the by-elections.
Mr. Komatireddy Venkatreddy said Mr. A. Revanth Reddy should have taken up the by-elections as a challenge in order to ensure the victory of the Indian National Congress (INC.) He reiterated his allegations that some party leaders deliberately insulted him at the Chandur public meeting of the party with an objective to force him to quit the grand old party.
Furthermore, Mr. Komatireddy Venkartreddy also clarified his recent move of not attending the TPCC meeting, because he was not invited to attend it by the State party leadership.
Mr. Komatireddy Venkatreddy said the new leaders of the parties are insulting senior leaders and sought an apology from the TPCC Cihef Mr. A. Revanth Reddy. Mr. Komatireddy Venkatreddy further reminded us that it was he and his brother, who not only got the party ticket for Dayakar from the Tungaturti Assembly constituency but also supported him in the 2018 Assembly elections for his victory.
Mr. Komatireddy Reddy also said he did not receive any invitation to campaign for the party in the by-elections and added that he would never take part in the election campaign unless he was invited by Mr. A. Revanth Reddy.
It is to be noted, recently, Mr. Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, the former INC leader and Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Munugode, paved the way for the election in the constituency.
