On the 25th of February, the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) issued a notification for the common entrance test (CET) for Bachelor of Physical Education (B.PEd) and Diploma in Physical Education (D.PEd) courses.
According to the issued notification, on behalf of the TSCHE, Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda would conduct the TS Physical Education CET exams and are currently accepting applications for the same. Candidates can apply online and register themselves for the examination scheduled to be held in June 2021. The online registration would begin from the 8th of March and would continue till the 8th of May.
After clearing this test, students would be eligible for the courses in universities, private unaided and affiliated colleges in Telangana.
Educational qualification:
For B.PEd, the candidates should have passed a three year degree examination recognised by any university in Telangana or equivalent and should be more than 19 years of age as on the 1st of July 2021.
For D.PEd, candidates should have passed Intermediate or equivalent and should have completed 16 years of age as on 1st of July 2021.
The TS Physical Education CET is scheduled to be held on the 7th of June.
